Autumn turned the big "5"! She has been looking forward to her birthday ever since Aspen's way back in July. It seems that is all she can talk about! When we would tell her four, three or two more months, her reply was "that's not very far away, huh mom!
Her birthday started out going to a nursing home for the Joy School service project. The kids did the birth of Jesus skit (Autumn was Mary), sang to the residents and then gave them Christmas cards that they had made. Autumn does not like the attention on her so you can see as the play goes on she gets more upset.
She was so excited to open her presents! We made her wait until Aspen came home from school. I think she sat by them the entire afternoon!

Autumn has been obsessed with My Little Pony (the tiny ones) so it's no surprise that she got a lot of that!
After we opened presents we took her to Jeepers for her birthday. It's kinda like Chuckie Cheeze but with rides too!
Jay took Brighton on a few rides. He is going to be just like Aspen, he is not afraid of anything!
Of course she had to have a "My Little Pony Cake" too!
I was being very brave and let Brighton eat birthday cake on his own. I have to say he did a pretty good job!

I am sorry we missed it! Argh! Its been crazy around here too. Do you remember when we were kids? The holidays seemed to go on forever...now they end just as you get started preparing for them.
Anyway, we will get a card out to her today!! Hope your birthday was awesome Miss Autumn!! You and McKenna can play My Little Pony together she loves My Little Pony too!!
