Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was nice and relaxing, we didn't get out of our pajamas all day long!
We let our kids open one present every Christmas Eve. This year they got to open two. They of course received pajamas and this year I made them each a new throw blanket. I did all of these in less than a weeks period of time and finished at 6pm on Christmas Eve with very sore fingers. The kids came downstairs and saw their new jungle gym and we couldn't get Brighton off of it. He wouldn't come and open presents!

Aspen is getting to that age when it is hard to shop for. She kept saying she wanted a spa. I thought she meant a spa treatment until I took her to Toys R Us and she pointed it out to me.
Okay, so you know when you think you have all your shopping done and then your child tells you something they want really bad that you had no idea of. Then you have to try to find that gift. That is what Autumn did this year. She wanted a Dora House. Luckily I found it on a REALLY GOOD sale on Amazon with free shipping. It arrived on Christmas Eve!

Aspen got this really cool ATM. It has a ATM card and it keeps track of how much money you put into your account and how much you take out. Maybe this will teach her some money management.

Autumn got the Baby Alive doll that goes "Pee, Pee and Poopy". She loves this doll and takes it everywhere with her. She even has a for the baby in her room so the doll can sleep next to her.

Brighton got this basketball hoop. He loves balls!
Brighton got this train set. He is obsessed with this train set. I now have FREEDOM!!!!!! He will actually go down stairs and play! I don't have a little shadow following me around the house every waking minute whining and moaning! Yeah!

Brighton also got this new towel for Christmas. He had been using the same towel we used when Aspen and Autumn were babies.

The day after Christmas we had our annual fondue party. We decided to do it alone this year to take away some of the stress.
Brighton's favorite part was the chocolate.
We let Brighton out of his chair and he decided to swing on his chair.
Ready... ONE....
Two.....
Threeeee......
