While we lived in Arizona Easter was one of my favorite holidays. It was the perfect weather, we always had Easter egg hunts at Jay's school, we went on a picnics, the girls could even wear Easter dresses without freezing their little buns off. It is just too darn cold here for that. With that being said I tried to make this Easter almost as fun for the kids.
On Saturday evening we died Easter eggs. The kids had a blast doing this. I told myself this year to just sit back and let them do it all by themselves. I like how Autumn is kissing her "baby egg" in this picture.
Yeah!! I can make a mess and no one is stopping me.

You turn your back for a few seconds and your monster really does turn into a monster. Who you ask, the incredible hulk of course. His hands and feet were solid green. It took us about an hour in the tub scrubbing to get it off so he wouldn't have it on for church.
Aspen, Brighton and Autumn in their Easter Sunday clothes. I made the girls take off their sweaters to take the picture even though it was about 35 degrees outside with the wind blowing.

After we had our Sunday dinner we went to the back of the church to roll our Easter eggs down the hill. Here is Autumn and Jay having a race. We had a few eggs that just wouldn't crack so we started hucking them down the hill. Instead of whose eggs wouldn't crack being rolled down the hill, it turned into whose can smash first.

Those dresses, not surprisingly, are beautiful, as are the girls. Once again not surpriseing. And little Brighton is getting to be quite the big Brighton. Tell them to stop growing I feel like I missing it all.
Looks like you had a fun Easter. We miss you guys! Happy Easter!!

I love going back and looking at these pictures. Brighton makes me laugh, and then to see that perfect picture of him standing between his sisters in their Easter outfits. He looks like an angel, but we know better:) The girls are so cute.
