Jays parents came to visit us for a week. Jay was able to take the entire week off! We had a blast! The second night we stayed at this hotel that has an indoor water park. Most water parks are somewhat dirty but this one was very clean. It had tons of stuff for the kids to do and us big kids as well. There were 5 water slides, a lazy river, water basketball, teeter toters, swings, water guns, a jungle jim and of course a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. We also went to a farm that had pigs, cows, chickens, lamas, and it was also an apple farm that made fresh apple cider in which you could get free samples. We went to a corn maze, rode the apple express train, the kids jumped on a pumkin trampoline, and we went through a haunted house for kids. Then we took a relaxing drive over to Lake Huron. The leaves had started changing colors and it was absolutely beautiful! It was toped off with Jay's Mom teaching him how to make her famous homemade apple pie. Even though it was very cold we had a lot of fun. It had rained and had been cloudy almost the entire time they were here and about an hour after Jay's parents left the sun came out and it warmed up significantly. There are so many fun things to do in Michigan in October! I would say the best time to visit is either in July when the fire flies are out or October when all the fall festivals are going on. Thanks for the fun time Mom & Dad! We already miss you and look foward to having you come again!
The outside of our hotel.
Autumn and Brighton splashing around. Autumn would cover one of the holes of the water spout and the other one would shoot up in Brightons face. They both thought this was sooo funny.
Brighton, Autumn and Aspen taking a ride on a turtle.
Autumn getting a piggy back ride from Grandma.
Taking a break in the hot tub.
An alligator ride.
The little slide (this is all we could get Autumn to go down the first day). On the second day all she wanted to do was go down the big dark slide.

After two days of swimming we wore out Brighton. He actually snuggled up to me for about 15 minutes, which is unheard of.

A visit to the farm.
Autumn taking a tractor ride.
Brighton feeding the chickens. He had just gotten his finger pecked
but that didn't stop him.
Aspen taking a ride on the zip line.
Playing on the Porter Farm Express.
A family picture in front of the apple cider store.
Finding our way in the corn maze.
Relaxing (more like freezing) on the apple train express.
Playing on the beach of Lake Huron. It didn't matter how cold it was
Brighton wanted to play in the water.
Aspen & Autumn, they really are Best Friends (most of the time)!
