We finally put Brighton into a big boy bed! Jay originally built this bed for Aspen but when we moved to Arizona she wanted a pink room. We have been storing this bed ever since. It's a good thing we had a boy we could use it with. We first started putting it up and Brighton really didn't know what was going on until we took down the crib. When he saw his new bed all set up he got super excited. Anyone that got near his bed he would say "no, go away, my bed". He didn't even want to take a bath, he just wanted his dawanies (pajamies) and he loves baths. The first night he did pretty good but the second, third and fourth nights weren't so good. He realized he could get out of bed. He would come downstairs in the middle of the night and put his face right in front of mine, not say a word mind you, just scare the crap out of me when I woke up and saw something staring at me six inches away from my face. For the last 2 nights he hasn't got up at all. I'm crossing my fingers that it stays that way.

Isn't it sad that he's getting so big, so soon. We miss alot not seeing the kids every day. Hope they have a fun Halloween this next week. Love N hugs!
